  Uprising (also by muse) has a lot of parallels to being in the cult. The whole album (the resistance) has a lot of references to 1984 and will be familiar to anyone who's been in a cult.

  I always thought "The Grudge" by Tool was pretty fitting. Also, "I Don't Wanna Be Here Anymore" by Rise Against although it's not really about religion is a great one for those still trapped.

  Muse is one of my favourite bands of all time. Drones has to be one of their best albums to date and really resonates to the life we previously had being part of a high control cult.

  I like "I'll Attack" by 30 Seconds To Mars. Just really listened to it the other day and felt it was appropriate for some of my feelings. I love the Rise Against song mentioned as well, big fan of theirs and saw them in concert earlier this year. Now I'm off to check the Muse song, as I like them too.
