  The King of the North collapses and falls apart - effectively vanishing.

  Do any Witnesses wake up to see how bogus their prophecies about this were?

  The UN is proven to be toothless and - often - irrelevant- far less than a world government and with

  far less practical force behind it than ever before. This isn't the same UN that opposed and fought in Korea

  Do Witnesses wake up and realize what rubbish their views on the UN have been?

  Next, some bozo Witnesses will be talking about 'Peace and Security' - even though the world economy/North Korea/

  and starving, AIDS- laden Africa stand in the way.

  All of which prove once again, ( as if you needed any further evidence)

  that 'being in the truth' isn't about facts or logic,

  just ignorance and the drone of 5 meetings-a-week mental programming.

  But Met, they do say the UN is toothless. They say they don't know now who the King is. I think that JW's won't think too hard on what you're saying because the WT. has already muddied things up.

  "Things can happen so quickly , when the UN appears weak, they could decide to give it more power - when the king of the North acts, we will know who he is. Things in the past did not go as expected ..........etc etc Wait on Jehovah"

  Lots of Christian fundies held that Russia was Gog of the Land of Magog. Claiming that the countries under Gogs control paralleled those countries that were satelittes of the communist state. Well, they are all gone now . Most of the fundie prophets now just keep their mouths shut and wait a while to let time fog their followers memories a bit before they reinterpret. Hal Lindsey, of course has to be different, without missing a beat he just inserted "muslims" into his writings where formerly he had written "communists".

  Didn't you hear? There is a family of Polar Bears in Northern Alaska that is now the King of the North. I think I read that in the WT.
