  Hello all,

  Thank you all for a very warm welcome yesterday.

  When my son in law would talk about growing up a "dub"..he told me that they have their own certain words and phrases that they use. I was like get outta town, he said oh yes you would be "bad association"..and I would have never had anything to do with you except try to preach the "Good News" to ya.

  Thru the years when the "Jo Hoes" (as he calls them now) would knock on my door I would just tell them I was Catholic and slam the door...Never thinking that they thought I was part of "Babylon the Great Harlot" or whatever they call it. (Oh my god) lol. Next time they knock on the door I might engage them in some false prophacy or maybe the "Shunning" and how ridiculous and sad it all is. All I can say is I'm soooo happy you all got out, are in the process of getting out, and I totally understand staying in to keep your families intact. That right there is the saddest situation of them all.

  oh, the lingo is just another way to exercise control. they seem to have to keep coming up with new phrases or terms and then they watch to make sure you change your terminology accordingly. i remember when they changed the midweek book study to "rondesvous". i mean whose brilliant idea was that?

  My favorite is:

Obviously, then, that "Day" is a long ways off. According to the current "light" as now understood, we may well see another ice age or two before the "truth" really becomes known.
