I was wondering ... when do you think the first judicial committee took place? And what was it for?
Can you imagine being the guinea pig for that kind of fiasco? I bet they were like, "What kind of bullshit is this?"
Does anybody know what year the first disfellowshipping took place?
The formal procedure for the modern version of disfellowshipping was outlined in the March 1 1952 Watchtower (there was a form of it all the way back to the 30's, but it wasn't much like what exists now).

When I read this quote, I totally heard it being said in Tony Morrison III's voice. It sounds like something he would say almost verbatim in their monthly broadcast videos.

Charles T Russel was sued for molesting a little girl. My guess is that the first JC was against his accuser.

I thought I knew of all of the Russell lawsuits. I'm not certain I know which you mean. Will you please elaborate?
To my knowledge, there was no judicial committee formed surrounding that event. I don't think they even had that in place at at the time. Judicial committees came later, but I would love to know exactly when.
I have never heard of that scratch ,I would appreciate some collaboration of that statement for my and others satisfaction that it wasn`t just an unfounded accusation
