Did you have mentors as a kid?
    Or did you have heroes?
Did you model yourself after an admired ideal?

    Who were they?
Mine will probably make you giggle.

Physically: I wanted to be Steve Reeves.

Personality: Steve Allen was the man.

As a writer: Ray Bradbury was ideal.

As a ladies man: Rock Hudson, Cary Grant and (don't giggle) Sean Connery ( James Bond.)

You say don't giggle because I guess you know that two of your mentors as ladies men were known to be men's men at times, although they both married women during their lifetime.

Btw, there is a picture of Cary Grant and I think the other guy is from the Hearst family from back in the 1930's,(I believe the two of them were roommates for a while) on the beach where one is lighting the others cigarette, the photographer must've known what was going on between the two because of the lighting, they are facing profile in a dark light, like you would expect to see a romantic picture of Great Garbo back in the day with her leading man, not to sure but I think the picture was featured in Life Magazine.

I believe it was actor Randolph Scott who is said to be Cary Grant's dearest.
I loved my best friend, Johnny, (who got me into the JW cult) as much as one human can love another. (David and Jonathan-ish).
It isn't amory in the sexual sense which made those men my ideals--it was their sly, witty charm and irresistible effect on women :)
I defended Rock Hudson against the rumors he was gay. Then, I discovered I was way off the track on that one and felt pretty dumb.
I don't care. These guys had a definite attractiveness I fashioned myself after.

I had many different ones. When I was 7 I wanted to be a human version of Jessica Rabbit lol Then there was this Mexican actress I really looked up to her name was Bibi Gaytan Bibi Gaytan.jpeg

Yeah, I look nothing like her hahaha. I also adored Lucille Ball. I was very upset when I was told she had died when I was 7or 8.

Now that I'm a bigger woman and a mom I look up to Ashley Graham because she's not afraid of her cellulite lol. Her confidence amazes me. I also really like Kristen Bell in general. She's an awesome mother, actress and human being. For inspiration I look to Malala
