They're all alone in their respective houses!

When you look into all the publications and predictions about the last days, the JWs are always represented in groups in someone's house. This isn't happening right now. They are all told to stay in their individual homes and watch JWSteaming!

I guess they will have to update a lot of artwork in their publications!

The WTS/JWS has always been proficient in the exploitation of fear, why without it the WTS/JWS might not even exist.

    PIMI JWs ignore cognitive dissonance.

They want the end time to come in their lifetime, so they will take it anyway they can get it, even if comes in a way that contradicts their long held beliefs. And they always have a rationale to explain any discrepancies.

That's a really good point StephaneLaliberte.

    This.

And deep down, the real reason for a lot of them is that they're under the mistaken impression that once the End comes, they'll finally be free of the Watchtower.

    Know how I now?

    'Cause that was me.

Sorry to disagree, but I know someone who got in trouble for giving access to JWStream. They want them all to call/video in so they know who did. Cults be culty.

I agree that most are individually in their homes, however...

The branch stresses that witnesses want to meet together (hypnotic suggestion?), and that will make some of them meet in each other's homes. The letters to elders and the video on jw.borg said nothing about social distancing (right?), and M.S. Lett says he is elbow touching to greet. That is not social distancing, and the sheeple will use it as an excuse to get closer. They will excuse it if it is around 10 people. They'll pack in like sardines in someone's living room to watch a video conference of a meeting.

The older ones are the more DIE hards, and they are less likely to know how to use video conferencing. They will feel like they need to to make it through the big A, panic and go to a group feeling it is safe as per M.S.Lett's broadcast. Because, who can trust the news? I can trust the GB!

Also, JW stream was overloaded because people stream and do not download, although enough downloading would overload it too I suppose.

If they weren't a cult they would just put meetings up on YouTube. Don't get me started. Oops too late.

How do some JWs think they will finally be free of Watch Tower after the End?

Watch Tower continues to teach that their congregation elders and the GB helpers along with "faithful men of old" will be appointed to rule as "princes" in the post-Armageddon "new world society".... they use Psalm 45:16 as a basis for this doctrine.

For PIMI JWs, there is no escape from Watch Tower male rulership, ever.

If a JW believes he or she will ever be free of Watch Tower post-Armageddon, that JW is not truly PIMI.

I dunno, maybe it was just me.

That being said, I'm certain may still-ins are aware - on some level - of just how unhappy their lives actually are...

...but haven't fully realized that the source of said unhappiness is less a result of "Satan's World", and more a result of the JW ideology and worldview.

Not to mention that very few truly realize just how dystopian a Watchtower-run planet would actually be (which was a big part of my WTexit).

Maybe the GB is priming the rank-and-file for loss of tax-exemption, asset liquidation, and "loving instructions to go 'underground' to avoid persecution" (how exciting), while they rapture bugger off to the Cayman Islands or something.
