Ask here, go on Facebook groups and ask if anyone is from the area, start a local meetup on meetup.com, or put the apostate signal in the sky (the logo for JWfacts.com) and they'll come right to your door.

I just want to add to what smiddy3 said, don't divulge too much information. There are some very off people out there. Shortly after I had left the JWs, another former witness was trying to meet up with me. My dad was never a JW, and one thing he taught me growing up is to find out what a person's motives are, what do they really want. Anyways I decided to ask this guy why he was no longer a witness, and he told me that he was disfellowshipped, and I asked him if he didn't mind sharing with me why he was. Not to go into too many details, but he was disfellowshipped because he was involved with NAMBLA. I had no idea what that was, and when I check into it further, I decided there was no way I was going to allow someone like him around my young sons.
