Baptism is the only contact with water that true Christians need. It's the example that Jesus set. He got wet all over when he was baptized. Other than that there was hand and feet washing, but nothing in between. Later the bible records in detail that he used his superpowers to avoid contact with water by walking over top of the water instead of getting wet by swimming.

Bethel needs to be contacted immediately. Seriously, they need to be lectured on hygiene and take time to indulge in water/soap -- it's amazing what it does for the body! It was unbearable sitting thru local, 2-day assemblies yrs. ago and the hall. I realize it takes energy for the elderly but if they need help in this area the Org should pay caregivers to help them out. It wasn't only the elderly that needed bathing/hygiene help -- I suspected their schedules were so burdensome they skimped in this area.

What a sick cult!
