  Looking through the pictures of the interior sent me into a panic attack. When I was a kid, I would literally have to get stoned everyday to deal with their tyranny.
  
  Anyone like to start a new cult? Here's your chance, and what you can get:

  1. A spacious modern-looking indoctrination room where you can mentally rape your adherents and dangle visions of paradise in exchange for the sacrifice of their children, family values and basic human feelings for others.

  2. A back room with 20 chairs where previously banished members can grovel for mercy in privacy for the attention (not love) of family members. Nice area for screaming kids for value-added bonus abuse.

  3. An activity desk where written instructions of required activities in the community can be received.

  4. A report desk where those activities can be recorded and turned in for scrutiny.

  5. A nice parking lot where you can beat your 5 year old for squirming during the 2 - hour sessions without bothering the other drones with the screams of your child.
  

  Yes, 40 years ago I would say, after deep consideration of the previous - time to twist up another one. Now, I quietly enjoy the slow agonizing death playing out before me. A more satisfying and longer-lasting high by far.
  
  Last night I watched my 2 teens excel in a basketball game and a soccer game. Not particularly gifted in sports, the boys' hard work paid off and both were scoring big points, both won. They are learning the value of persistence, team-work and goals and not servitude to ignorant pot-bellied overlords.

  I am constantly amazed how much loving parents sacrifice to support their children - cold weather, uncomfortable bleachers, major time commitment. I've had to learn how to do it right.

  Wow.....that KH actually looks really nice and modern inside. Wonder how much the locals paid to make it look like that, only to have the WT HQ pull the rug out from under them and fleece them further?

  Ever notice how all of the podium lecterns look exactly the same, no matter which Hall you're at? Does some JW company somewhere make these? What a gold-mine that must be!.

  My connection?

  Saw Halley's Comet on Padre island through a telescope, set up by members of the local astronomy club. A real heavenly experience, in a cool sea breeze. but nothing like Hale Bopp.

  Lift up your head. The creator does not live in houses built by men (and woman).

  I don't remember Halley comet. Well, I do but it is a foggy memory.

  But, I was in college when Hale-Bopp passed through. I used to look out my two-story window during study breaks and ponder the comet and the universe. Back then the old H20 discussion board was live. It was an interesting time to get out of the Tower.

  Many of us can attest to the fond memories that this room digs up.

  

  4 chairs. 3 for pot-bellied "high leaders" and 1 for the sinner. (now where did I put that bong? Oh yes, I remember. I got rid of it along with all the Wt literature. Strangely didn't seem to need it anymore. )

  Mark twain who is reported to have seen it twice., it comes every 75 years.

  so , on padre island minus the glorious movie music, even through a telescope it really looked like a cottonseed ball with its dark center. by comparison, I saw Hall several nights in the clear ocean air from the balcony of a house on a pacific island I was able to buid, because I had escaped the wt special pioneer mill in time.

  A sight that would dispel any doubts that there is more to creation than talking snakes.
  I recommend eclipses too.

  I know you are upset, we all are. But, the WT is falling into the pit that they have dug for others. Things ARE working out.

  Every indoctrination center that is sold is one that will never be rebuilt. The waters are drying up. Babylon is Falling, one KH at a time.

  The lawyer sharks have swam up the Euphrates and are pillaging that great city.

  Exciting times we are living in.

  I don't get panic attacks about anything it seems, but it gave me a sick feeling in my stomach, that interior. It also struck me how cold, sterile and unwelcoming it was, as is common with every K.H.

  No wonder some people came along for just one or two Meetings and we never saw them again. I once, when out in F.S all those years ago, asked one Elderly lady why she had done this, she said the Hall is an unwelcoming place, and the Songs are utter dirges, I had no reply to that ! She returned to her Methodist Church.

  Yes, even the KHalls are all identical. That Hall could be anywhere. Typical cookie-cutter JW "quick build" design.

  I would think Corpus Christi would have a large Spanish speaking population. I thought that's where the JW increase was being seen? Guess not!
