I haven't attended the JW Memorial in 20 years and thought that it might be nice to attend this year's celebration to see if the service has changed and if they serve a better quality wine. If anyone knows what day this week the special event will be observed, please let me know.

Twenty years? You'll notice a lot of changes. It's now a bring your own refreshments affair. There is even talk that next year white wine will be allowed in the ceremony which will be open to all those attending, due to the fact that white wine producers are stating that the WTS has been biased in their use of red wine. With so many partakers these days, and even more next year, there is intense competition in the wine industry for a slice of the memorial market.
Cheese and wine - mmm, sounds good. I might go too. But not yet - I'll wait until the sun rises in the West.
