  i loved blackadder, with it's sharp witted humour. black adder goes forth was my fave episode. some great quotes below. did anyone else love this programme?

  I loved Blackadder Goes Forth.

  I also like the one with Mr and Mrs Ploppy (although they weren't related!)

  It was the one where Blackadder cut off the wrong person's head off - classic

  Rowan Atkinson is a genius, and so are the writing team of Richard Curtis and Ben Elton. searchfothetruth, I love the pigeon episode as well. I love the way Blackadder talks, he has a brilliant turn of phrase.

He had the knife in his hand, thirteen witnesses had seen him stab the victim, and when the police arrived, he said, "I'm glad I killed the bastard".
