Ruth Tersek Olmo is an ex jehovah's witness and former member of the beroean pickets bible study group. Her personal statement is one of pain and disappointment. Spiritual Abuse is becoming more widespread and the purpose of this interview is to raise awareness, provide education around spiritual and religious abuse, and to keep the public safe. Individuals, including Ruth have decided to start coming forward as a result of personal experiences which have impacted them personally. This channel provides a safe space for impacted individuals to share personal testimonies that can be voiced and heard through the lens of freeness to expose abuse. Collectively, it is our hope and prayer that Eric and Wendy Wilson will be humble and understand that these experiences and the decision to go public have not been taken lightly. Despite their negligence in their non response to accepting a private meeting, and on behalf of impacted victims. It is our hope that Eric and Wendy listen to the voices of people who have been hurt by them and take a long hard look at how they treat others, whilst at the same time professing to be born again christians. If you would like to support Ruth in her endeavours to help disadvantaged people in Valencia and Spain. you can email her at [email protected]

Below is a condensed summary of Ruth's statement
---In summer 2022, a member of the Spanish Berean group, Jonas, struggled with severe depression after enduring 20 years of abuse from his psychopathic wife. Despite reaching out for help, his situation was mishandled. Jonas fell in love with a supportive sister, Gabi, but this led to judgment and public criticism within the group, based on misinformation spread by his wife who was not even a believer.
A judicial committee-style meeting occurred without Jonas or Gabi present, leading to public exposure to their private lives. This mishandling caused significant emotional distress, culminating in Jonas's suicide. Ruth, a member of the group, confronted leader Eric Wilson about the lack of empathy and unscriptural judgment. Eric responded by acknowledging mistakes but refused to revisit the matter, emphasizing moving forward. Ruth also highlighted hypocrisy among group leaders regarding personal conduct and called for accountability and compassion.

So....The Beroean Pickets thing has become a cult as well? Not surprising if so. It's like trying to reheat rotten roadkill.

I sat in on one of their zoom meetings Saturday and I have watched many of his videos and have read many of the articles. Eric seems brilliant in his conclusions and delivery. I did see how the group could become cultlike so I am still skeptical. I wanted out of Jw but I was looking for a place where I could worship with like-minded truth seekers. I chatted afterwards with some of the attendees who stuck around and they seemed genuine and supportive. Anyone know of any other groups like this one?
