A political cult attacking a religious one. Whatever may be said about the WT, it is not giving financial support to Ukrainian militants.
Has anyone heard of a booklet entitled, "Will There Be Peace Without War?" If that was a WT publication, the choice of wording was unfortunate.

In a world view, where its all about them, its very easy to see how this is going to spin up in the Watchtower world. However, the reality is that Jehovah's Witnesses are not the only religion attacked by Russia's FSB. The Bihai, The Church of Latter Day Saints and other local minority faiths are also on the list of prohibited faiths.
Why? ... because Russia is at war, and any group that is not supporting the state ... is an enemy of the state. Its that simple.

They said Babylon the great had fallen in 1919. When churches lost their influence in political affairs, yet it's the Russian Orthodox Church that pushed Putin to make these moves. Could the wt have been wrong? 🤔😂

I wonder what governments think when they see that the WTS teaches they are all under the control of Satan, either directly or indirectly.
WT 2023 October p.8 paragraph 10 "The Bible acknowledges that human governments cause suffering, are under Satan’s control, and will soon be destroyed. (Ps. 110:5, 6; Eccl. 8:9; Luke 4:5, 6)"

What's ironic here is the WT's publications always preach about this and try to 'mirror' what the bible says. It is ironic, an understatement if the governments of the world team-up and end the WT by prosecution of the erroneous CSA practises. And negating the Borg's tax exempt status. The borg having to pay tax, on everything, ultimately causing the borg to go bankrupt.
Now that would be ironic. Wouldn't it??

Beth Sarim: I doubt that secular governments will not use the same practices on all religions and will be financially devastating for all of them. Time will tell. I am not just concerned about the hiding of child sexual abuse (CSA) better to say it for what it is, but in all religions and secular institutions. Only then will CSA be confronted head on in more situations. CSA is not exclusively a WTS problem, so all children can be protected more comprehensively. For me, it is the protection of children that is the most important thing, not bringing down anyone one religion or institution.
(The issue I was directly commenting on is that the WTS considers all human governments under Satan's control directly or indirectly)
