Does anybody here acknowledge the passing of Frank Sinatra Jr.? at the young age of 72 ? O.K.I`m slightly older .

However I`m surprised that nobody has mentioned this to date. Fair enough he never achieved the fame his father did , After all he still did have a reasonably successful life as a singer and a bit part actor , was it the Sopranos he played himself in one of their episodes ? And didn`t he sing the opening song for "The Family Guy "? T.V.show ?

I believe he also conducted the orchestra when his father and Lisa Minnelli toured Australia for their Concert some years ago.

Not forgetting his abduction and ransom many years ago that ended successfully .

    R.I.P. Frankie Jr.

Don't know much about him, but when I heard the news I wondered whether all that second-hand he breathed as a kid was a factor. It's a tough life those guys live...but interesting.

Speaking of Sinatra, this is one of my favorite clips.

It must have been hard living in the shadow of a man like Frank Sinatra. I guess people aren't as affected by his death because he didn't achieve fame in his own right. He was apparently a very good singer and did a great job interpreting his father's catalog, but I never heard him sing, so it's hard to feel much of anything over his passing, other than the sadness that anyone died.

Thank`s for that Cold Steel , I nearly choked on my chardonay , Don Rickles was a very funny man , and Frank was one of my favorite singers and actors .

I have since googled Frank Jr`s songs and he did have a fine voice , and as Lisa says it`s hard living in the shadow of someone so famous .
