I know things work differently in the US (and I would be interested to know how your licensing works) but here in the UK, drinking laws which were created in the first world war have only recently been through a major shake up - and pubs which previously had to close at 11pm are staying open into the night on a license by license basis.
I was wondering how this has affected the "rules" given out from the platform. The Watchtower often criticised "DISCOS" and that was easily applied in the UK as there only used to be basically two licenses 11pm or 2am (with a few exceptions). Depending on the congregation you would be definately be counseled or more harsh treatment / responsibilities taken or even judicially dealt with. Now there are pubs which include live bands or dancing staying open until 12, 1 or 2. It's not so cut and dry anymore if you are going to a pub or a club.
Any thoughts?
*just realised posted this in UK on Sat night, when should be out enjoying myself*
