Why did God stop intervening in human affairs and deliverance of his people?

The Bible is full of stories of God intervening on behalf of those that had trust and faith in him. He rescues his people from various battles, trials and challenges from their enemies. The rescued individuals or communities are quick to offer praise and gratitude to God for His mighty acts on their behalf.

The story of the Israelites’ Exodus from Egypt and the parting of the Red Sea is a prime example of God’s powerful deliverance in the Bible.

In the battle between David and Goliath, God delivers David against insurmountable odds.

God saves Daniel from the hungry lions.

The Battle of Jericho, led by Joshua, faced an impenetrable city with towering walls. By marching around the city for seven days and blowing trumpets at God’s command, the walls crumbled before them.

After all these ( supposedly) stories of God intervening in the Old and New Testament, the interventions mysteriously stop. God doesn't stop World War 1 & 2, doesn't stop 9-11, famine, droughts, animal extinctions, over population, environmental issues and on and on.....

If God did intervene in human affairs 2000 years ago, why did they stop?

Maybe the Bible is truly a fabrication of stories that never happened!

Jehovah still intervenes in human affairs. He's just been more subtle. When Jesus returns, the 'miracles' will start again.

Can you name the interventions? Subtle. .REALLY? You mean non-existent.

Sometimes we forget that when the first readers of these stories read them, they asked the same question.

    God Never intervene!

    These are just ancient stories.

God never parted the Red Sea.

God never stopped hungry lions from eating an old man named Daniel

And the wall of Jericho never fell because of Trumpet blasts.

Goliath was not 10 ft tall. David was probably 5ft and a couple of inches tall and Goliath was 5ft 9" maybe. Men tend to exaggerate how tall they are throughout history.

    And a Donkey didn't have a conversation with Balaam because Donkeys can't talk....Unless it's Shrek's donkey.

And that's why God didn't intervene to stop Hitler from killing Millions of innocent men, women and children.

And that's why God didn't stop humans from inventing the Atomic Bomb and disintegrating two cities.

And that's why Gold won't stop a nuclear war from wiping out most of humanity.

Everything bad that happens is because of us humans and who we put in power. Don't vote Harris!

Why did God stop intervening on human affairs?

Thats because maybe He never did in the first place.

Well....if we use Watchtower's TWO witness rule...most of the Bible stories never happened.

Moses wrote about how God spoke and made promises to Abraham...that only Abraham heard. Three major religions are based on this hearsay.

And..,.,, we know how the Borg practices & follows this ""two witnesses"" rule right to the top.

Probably what's actually the linchpin holding the Borg together. Because it cant exist without it,,probably.

So subtle that no one knows it.

When Jesus returns, the 'miracles' will start again.

    Don't hold your breath.
