About a month ago, XenaWarrior, Scootergirl and Heaven sent us a gift certificate for Calloway's Gardens. No special reason, other than the fact that they are the kindest people I know. Well as organized as I am () I hopped right to it and 2 1/2 weeks later I bought an oak tree. Yes, that's right it only took half a month to buy and plant a tree. We wanted to get something that would grow and last for a long time.
Well your kindness has yielded results. We used your gift to buy the biggest oak tree we could and planted it in our front yard right in front of our dining room so that it can provide shade. Hopefully when Nina and I are retired we can look out at a big oak tree in our front yard and remember a kind and generous group of special people: The Northern Girls.
