Not sure which thread to put this under so i will ask here.If a person stopped attending their kh meetings, but always made sure they made a donation each month to their kh,would the elders still come knocking on their door?Is it recruitment or money they want more? Curious,,,kls

They want recruitement first I think. No one is rich enough to compensate for the 6 million others who attend. Money comes second because they are not that poor.

The larger the number of members the greater the opportunity to accrue wealth.
I recall a quote reportedly from a politician, when asked why there are so many taxes that disadvantage the lower income section of society - "There are more of them."

I've said this before:
Everything the WTS writes basically boils down to this:
Give us your money. Give us your time, trying to find more people to give us their money. Then give us more money and more time.

I'd say recruitment is more important to them...............don't get me wrong, they'll take your money too, but from everything I've seen, they'd rather have total control over YOU the PERSON, before wanting your money...........you can't council a hundred dollar bill, and you can't disfellowship real estate for not towing the line..........

Recruitment by far. Their main point is for recruitment. With it comes money, but their emphasis is for recruitment. If you don't donate ( I know this because I didn't donate Dic|< for 3 years and didn't hear anything. But when I stopped going out in service, thats when i got the "help".
