I recently, a week ago. Had a trip up the west coast of Norway it was very nice (early) spring weather so I took my little Canon Digital S100 with me. I have put a few of the photos on a net album there will be more pics later. If anyone is interested in having a peek, the url is: http://www.eurofoto.no/fotoalbum.php?aid=4059

Carl Sagan on balancing openness to new ideas with skeptical scrutiny...."if you are open to the point of gullibility and have not an ounce of skeptical sense, you cannot distinguish useful ideas from worthless ones. If all ideas have equal validity, then you are lost, because then,no ideas have any valdity at all." Pasadena lecture,1987
Thanks for sharing - you got us pining for the fiords. I'm impressed with the quality from your digital camera. (gee Tina's gone a bit high-brow tonight ;)
uncle- trying to balance his gullibility with realism -bruce
PS: Tina: I caught a sea-gull with my bare hands once - was that an example of my 'gull-ability?'
Gday Unc, lol I 'll bet that gull would see it that way! lol.
Nah not gettin' high brow(maybe time to pluck them puppies? lol) Just one of my fave Sagan sayings....it's just that I see ,all too often, such credulity in folks.(as did he) Jumpin on the bandwagon of some really nutty stuff........and especially the notion that all ideas have validity "If all ideas have validity, then you are lost, because then,no ideas have any validity at all" Sagan (again) Skepticism gets a bad rap when all it is ,is using logic and reason when evaluating new ideas and concepts. I've seen people who've left the wts,not developing this much needed skill to be taken in time and again by other charlatans, pseudoscientific claims, pop psychology..it's sad. So that's why I love that quote :> Throwing gulls at Unc Class, hugs,Tina

Really enjoyed your pictures, thanks so much for sharing them. Molinda and I need to do a little traveling one of these days--we would love to visit your area. I especially liked this photo:
ohh Those pics are Grand. Now you have me pining for my home land! I've been to Alaska (born there) and NZ, but I can't wait to see Norway. (Just don't tell Kent if I do come for a visit, K)
