Just saw an Instagram of a headline re the earthquake and underneath this sister has written 'pray for our brothers in mexico'

It made me so angry. What about everyone else? Guess they don't matter do they?

A time ago they used to 'claim' to help not only the JW in the location hit. Nowadays, they make sure to put on the website 'help our brothers and sisters'.

But what you have to remember is there isn't the money and laws in mexico as there is in the USA. People are a lot poorer and perhaps less inclined to carry insurance. If Wt tries to pull off the same thing there as the do in the usa they may be dissopointed.

Insurance or no insurance, they will be exploiting the response of well intended people to others in need. The Watchtower will ask for donations to help the brothers and sisters affected by the earthquake... and keep it. The help actually will come directly from the hard work and hard earned money of other brothers and sisters...and the donations, except for few dollars to disguise the scam, will disappear.
