Quote: "Jonathan Cahn on the Jim Bakker Show Nov.12th, 2012. Cahn uses detective work to figure out that Jesus was born on the first day of the Jewish New Year, known as Nissan 1, in 6 B.C. Compelling correlation of Jewish Feast Days and their foreshadowing of the life and work of Jesus."

Cahn is a Rabbi and his arguments are interesting. But for me, the most interesting aspect of his arguments are, that if he is correct, we need to ask whether the unknown gospel writers wrote their documents to make their picture of Jesus fit their view of OT teachings?

When was Jesus born , when was Santa born , their both fictional characters so what / why does it matter they both serve a purpose for the day whether you agree with that purpose or not.

Considering when the count of the people was ordered and when Herod died there a 12 year different between the gospels Luke and Mathew. One would think it would be pretty clear when the son of god was on the earth yet they can’t even get that right.

He has not returned as promised in the first century generation. 2,000 years later and no Jesus!

For me it means that there never was a Jesus.

(Daniel 9:27) “And he will keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half (וַחֲצִ֨י - middle) of the week, he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease.. . ." So, his death was about six months away from his birthday: had to be the Autumn, not Nissan!

Respectfully - quoting passages from a fictional book full of errors and contradictions does not do anyone any favors.
