A question for X-dunkers

I have a question for all you X-dunkers out there. I was dunked in 1965. As I recall the brother who did the dunking said to me, near my ear, "I baptise you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." Then he dunked me. How is it done now? Do the questions asked at the Baptism talk cover it or does the dunker still say the Father, Son, Holy Spirit thing at the pool?

When I was dunked in 1978, the brother said the same thing.

I have always wondered, if we are baptized in the name of the "spirit", why is it that we do not know the spirit's name? We are told that it is an impersonal force that God uses to do his will. If that is so, it shouldn't have a name.

The person dunking no longer says anything. He is only a prop.

The only thing that was said to me before I got dunked (1980) was "Are you ready?"

I was dunked sometime in the early 80's, and I don't recall the brother saying anything. When I was baptized as a baptist (I think I was about 6), I remember them holding me under the water, and I could hear the minister saying "I baptize you in the name of the Father, of the son, and of the holy ghost" all the while I'm thinking I'm going to drown. scary stuff for a little kid

So not only does the WTS usurp Jesus' authority at the baptismal talk and require an oath of allegience to the almighty WTS they ignore his instructions at the very last minute. Are people so deep into the mind control they just don't notice? The dunkers and the dunkees all participate in defying the King of Kings. Weird.
