Were there enough people in your age/group or did you have to hang around with much older or much younger than you?
I had that problem in my congregation... A few were my age, but they were married, so we weren't often together.
Did you feel isolated in your congregation because of age difference or because you were single?
For those that grew up in the organization, I guess you didn't have that problem, but I joined at 26, so it was a problem for me. Adults were 10-20 years older than me, and the kids were 15-20 years younger than me.
I was like in a no-man's land, all alone. Then they say to get married in the truth???
I remember the congregation I attended was just full of kids, all about 10-15 years younger than me on average. that sucked.
ours was a matter that we weren't related to anybody and didn't have a 6 fiqure income.
The people we were drawn to were older, for our son's finding a friend was the pits, all the kids were very clique.
In my old hall there were alot of older friends. There was only a small handful of people my age, and the ones that were my age were all part of a clique. It's amazing that in Jehovahs organization young people can make each other feel realIy isolated. I learned quick to have any kind of social life I had to make friendships with people outside my congregation.

I think you will only see the congregations consisting mainly of the elderly, and people mid thirties and up and their children.
Young Adult newbie recruits will be rare because people are getting smarter these days, esp with the help from valuable info sites such as this one.

If they weren't too stupid, two-faced, weird, or crazy, then they were too old. In fact, some of the elderly were very nice, although some were just as nuts as the others....... I hung with "bad people" from all kinds of congregations, and partied. (like got drunk/wasted all the time). I never got into trouble, b/c I would leave if things got too crazy. Had quite a few close calls, but nothing.
I only hung around with that crowd b/c nobody else would really hang out with me, or they were in the four categories mentioned earlier.
