In the following Awake! Article, I think you will see a familar name -- I think you will find some good uses for this Quote --- H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E-S:

    AWAKE!, August 22, 1991 Issue, Page 29:

Shielding Pedophile Priests? "Some dioceses still shield priests accused of pedophilia," ran a recent headline in the U.S. newspaper National Catholic Reporter. The newspaper interviewed Jeffrey Anderson, a lawyer who specializes in cases of sexual abuse. He estimates that since 1985, when priestly pedophilia came under increased public scrutiny, there have been over a thousand cases in which priests molested children. Anderson had some harsh words for the church’s response to the ongoing crisis: "It is a continuing saga of avoiding responsibility," he charges, decrying the church’s focus on protecting the accused clerics. "As a general rule, the institutional response of the church has been willfully inadequate both in tending to victims and dealing with risks."

I am sorry, but can you tell me why you think Jeff was on CBS???

I have been in Jeff's office, and have talked to him. He is very motivational, and his reasons for doing what he does for victims is, well breath taking.

I wish I saw him on CBS, but I didn't and I recorded it twice, I saw the broadcast again at 3 am, and still didn't see him.

Did I miss something? I have met the man, I would think I would see him on the tv, did I miss it?

    Jesika,

Actually, I need to make a correction -- I recorded the SilentLambs CBS News Story, but I have been so busy I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet.

Jeffrey Anderson was shown in a Picture with Bill Bowen and Heidi Meyer (from Jul 2nd, 2002) on the CBS News Website -- not the Television Program. Sorry about that error on my part.

When that happened, I was there!!!!!!!!

I was standing within about 2 feet from Heidi at that time. I was wondering about what you were referring to.

I stayed with Heidi when that happened (that particular interview), in her home. That was my first time to meet Bill in person and Heidi, as well as Amber, even before she disclosed her idenity.

This past CBS story, had Heidi and Bill in it, but not Jeff, or Amber.

If I remember right. The picture of Jeff Anderson. Heidi and Bill Bowen was shown beforehand as one of the a introductions to Eye of America.

One day I hope to be able to meet Jeff Anderson. Very caring and compassionate man. And shows his emotions.

My therapist has high regard for Jeff. She has done work with him regarding abuse allegations.

this Guy called Jeff is going to have a field day-

i spoke with someone a couple of months ago and the local elders were called in for a deposition- and the lawyer could not believe it- the calibar of men that the wt has on the front line was unbeleivable- He just couldn't think of the words to call them- he was looking for: Cheese and Cracker Men

he said it was like shooting fish in a barrel- esp when you consider the level of education and the lack of exp that the avg elder has in dealing in a corporate enviroment, hell most of us don't- and to have some guy sitting in a big ass conference room and cherrywood on the walls being asked to explain the qualifications he posses that enables him to investigate the crime of child abuse is sad-

the lawyer could not believe it-

so jeff should have some interestng stories to tell
