I would love to see more Country`s around the world take this stand and prosecute Elders on a JC that never reported child sexual abuse to the appropriate authorities and only handled it in-house and not treating it as a crime.
It would make the Elders more accountable for their actions or rather inaction in dealing with child sexual abuse within the congregations and possibly make the Elders more aware of how the JW Organization leaves Elders out on a limb to take the blame and absolving the organization from any blame.
This case handled correctly could be a real wake up call for many ,I truly hope so .

I'm still kinda surprised the legal system has taken so long to figure out that the WT leadership are the ones that need to be called to task.
Maybe because, in the US, they're so used to individual non-Catholic churches having more autonomy?
