I had carried doubts for several years until the day I thought to myself: I should be reaching out for further privileges. Hence, the only logical step to do was to study more in order to answer my doubts. Soon enough, the more I studied in the WT literature, the bigger and more numerous my doubts became. The first thing to draw me away from that religion was its very own literature.

My wife was not in the organization long. Maybe 2 years before we met. One of the reasons she got out (I'd say she did before I did) was, no matter what she did or how hard she tried, the organization always asked "Can you do more?" To her this was the organization constantly saying "You're best isn't good enough."
