How about a presentation like this:
"Hello, my name is [name], and you are?
. . .
Well hello, [householder]. Today we were just asking out neighbors this thought-provoking question and would love to hear your view on it: Is the truth always positive and/or hopeful? Or to put it another way: Can the truth be very negative?
. . .
Well that an interesting viewpoint. Let me give you an example:
A man goes to his doctor for the first time in 10 years after a few years of braving chronic pain. The doctor does his routine checks then something catches the doctor's attention and the doctor sends him to do additional tests. The results come in and the doctor says: 'I'm very sorry, but it doesn't look good. You have very late stage cancer - a particularly aggressive kind of cancer at that. There is nothing we can do for you now except provide palliative care as needed. You have 6 months to live, 1 year if you're exceptionally fortunate - or unfortunate, depending on how you look at it.'
Now what if that man says:
'Doctor, what you're telling me does not provide me with any hope. I want to live to see my granddaughter graduate from college. But according to your diagnosis that's impossible. Therefore I refuse to accept your diagnosis in favor of believing I have severe arthritis because that gives me the hope of seeing my granddaughter graduate.'
Would that be wise reasoning on the man's part? Does the fact that the doctor's diagnosis is very grim and offers no hope, mean that it's not true and should be rejected?

Well sir many people today refuse to entertain the the possibility that there is no god. Why? They often reason: 'if there is no god then this life is all there is. If there is no god there is no divine justice for all the oppressors who never faced justice. If there is no god I will never see my deceased mother again. Therefore I refuse to believe that there is no god because I cannot cope with the unpleasant implications of that idea.'
Is that reasoning much different from that given by the man dying from cancer who denies the truth because it's upleasant?

Jehovah's Atheists would basically be helping people to reason logically to free themselves from the superstitious belief in, and fear of, Jehovah.

Wake Me Up Before You Jo-Ho
This kind of inspires me to get out in Field Service again. Except this time, I'd like to knock on my territory's doors and warn people of the true nature of the Jehovah's Witness cult that will come knocking on their doors intermittently in the near future.
Either that, or make flyers to distribute in mail boxes with a brief statement about the harboring of pedophiles and the diminished capacity of each JW member due to cult indoctrination; that they are counting time to report to their headquarters if ever they show personal interest in a householder. And that they have been manipulated into believing that this will ensure their salvation (KM Jun 2012) so that they can separate who WILL survive a gruesome death at Armageddon (those householders whom they recruit/convert) and those who will perish and become bird food.
