This is an odd first post. What help and advice are you actually after?

Hi lovecrissy,
I think JW Facts has a good guide on the WTS policy towards blood transfusions.
PRBC( packed red blood cells) - not acceptable - not even one's own PRBCs extracted and infused later.
FFP- fresh frozen plasma - not acceptable, although patients may receive all the fractionated parts of plasma separately without any repercussions, as long as they do not receive whole plasma all at once.
Cryoprecipitate- conscience matter. Most JWs readily accept it. A patient must be type/cast to receive cryo which raises eyebrows. Most HLCs calm this alarm since it is mentioned (favorably) in so much of their support material.
