And why doesn't it bother anyone when they do?

For instance they quote a bit from the Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible. They will use it to prove their point on something. But this same book also comments on the deity of Christ which the JWs think is blasphemy. It used to always bother me even when I was asleep and swallowing the cool-aid.
I think of it this way, would you quote from Mein Kamph if Mr. Hitler said something that argued your point?
Well, come to think of it, maybe THEY would.

WT quotes from the bible yet believe the magic 7 over the black book. I want to know what Judical committee has forgiven a person 7 times let alone 77 times.

It's like a lawyer using a statement by the opposing side's expert witness in order to prove his case. "Members of the jury, don't take my word for it. Why, even our opponent's expert admits [whatever]..."

To outsiders, it looks find-minded and impressive when a scholar of Christendom or a scientist agrees with the WT on some point. At least, that's the WT's hope.

JWs are likewise impressed with the WT's "scholarship." Most of them don't analyze it deeply enough to be concerned that the WT feels it necessary to bolster its case by quoting sources that it considers satanic or worldly.

Diety of Christ is apostate thinking. Since They have quoted from a book that propagates this it makes them complicit in encouraging apostate readership. Shouldn't the GB members be quesioned, reproved and df'ed?

They would jump to it if it was one of the minions in a Congo. Back room third degree.and then df the poor bastard.

    Let's be honest.

If they didn't, the pickings would be way too slim.
