Just shows the child abuse/pedophile problem is not just confined to Jehovah's Witnesses. However, did you notice they said they would examine whether to re-consider their policy? If only JWs were willing to do that.

Thanks, Big Tex for replying. I don't know why but the white hot interest in child abuse issues seems to have slowed down around here. Thanks for pointing out that they were willing to re-examine their policies. So many issues re the WTS revolve around adults but this is one that definitely affects those that cannot protect themselves.

I agree, Blondie, that the interest in child abuse kind of ebbs and flows. However, this Pandora's box will never be closed again. I do applaud that church for at least SAYING they're going to examine their policies. JWs will never admit they're wrong or need to adjust anything unless they can call it "new light" and claim it's from God.
