J_W what is your point? we know that Genesis1:1 is wrong. The Sun did not start to shine after her (german) or his (french) creation 10 billion years after the beginning ended. so, if the beginning is wrong, can the talking snake be far behind?

I had been taught that this account was more from the perspective of Moses (Noah? I can't remember who wrote genesis unfortunately) having a vision of all this and that, taken nonliterally, this was more indicative of the clouds blocking the sun out being cast away and naming the day and night cycle for the existing Sun and Moon etc. Still, the more they fit science into the narrative the more it brings into question the process of evolution, because honestly breaking it down this way made the notion of evolutionary biology more viable but I was sorta stiffled about it.
