But I did see a person have their last breath, and I saw how life ends. And that is as close as I've ever been to something divine.

Hi VIVAMUS,My Mother died in my arms in the hospital.The doctors said that she was in a comma.Her last words uttered were "Jesus,Mary and Joseph over and over until she breathed her last breath.
Maybe this was because of her Catholic upbringing.I always wondered about this .When a person is in a comma,is the conscious mind still alert while in this comma?
While in this comma,was she aware of my presence,was she aware that she was soon to depart,hence,crying out audibly the words Jesus,Mary and Joseph to receive her? I have always been troubled by this.

This is one thing that came to my mind. There have been others. This was approximately the time I had made my decision to finally say "bye bye" to the JW life I'd lived since I was fourteen. I was probably about thirty-six years old, and it was a day like any other in the late afternoon.
Our rental house was in the country, just as you drive round a sharp bend, there it is on the right. We had a circle drive in the front of the log house. The mail box was on the opposite side of the road. One day, I had gone to the edge of the road and looked both ways, just to make certain there were no vehicle on the road. I got the mail and had crossed the road back towards the house. I had received a letter and had already begun to leisurely open it while slowly walking the distance from the beginning of the circle drive across the front lawn to the porch.
Suddenly, a very firm voice said to me "hurry up fast, and get to the porch". It was a strong command, which I instinctively obeyed. Just as I reached the first step to the porch, and turned, the sound of a roaring engine, and the sound of screeching and lots of dust and dirt swirled up close to me. A car was speeding round the corner, and had lost control, and as the fellow driving was trying to bring the car to a stop, he had dug tire prints all the way across the yard exactly where I had been standing only seconds before, and came to rest with his tires dug down deep into the ground--both of the front ones flatened and smoke coming off the brakes. There was no one else around, and I had to go get some help for the guy, who was very shaken up.
I never heard the car coming, and the fellow never even saw me until he got out of his car when it came to a stop. He was trying to keep the car under control and not hit one of the many trees in the front yard. It all happened so quickly. He was shocked when I told him he had just missed me by mere seconds. Had I not followed the instructions of the command I heard, I would have been struck dead right in the spot where I paused to read my letter. No doubt about it--I believe an entity of some sort saved my life that afternoon.

Throughout history paintings,sculptures,magazines,books and souvenir shops have made angel awareness.
The Bible mentions two,Michael and Gabriel.Other books mention more by name,good and evil,according to the history channel.
If they do exist ,where do they come from?Does their existence prove that there is a creator,God?
What accounts for so many experiences,claims made by so many people over the centuries,again according to the research done by the history channel.

i remember reading god sends evil spirits to torment those who displease him . Like in the case of saul.
i think angels do gods dirty work as well the one who put his hand out and struck down the innocent in isreal for king davids sin for instance is he a good angel or bad one?
