Has anybody been reported to Chex Systems?

  I have recently found out I was in the Chex Systems while trying to open a Checkings Account. Does anybody have any tips of getting out of it? or finding a bank that doesn't check the Chex Systems? Or do I have to wait those longggggggg 5 years? Thanks your help.

  Hi Nomad,

  You must have bounced a check once in the past. Even if the check was covered but the fee for bouncing it wasn't, you will still be listed. If you ask the bank, they will be able to tell you who you owe and once you take care of it, you will be able to open an account.

  Howdy Nomad. I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with this system. I was going to guess it had something to do with a problem regarding a past check, but then I read Shari's post, so I guess my guess was right.
