The organization would probably have lost 50 % of its membership. Just a thought.
Too bad the internet didn't exist in 1975..

I was at the district convention in 1976, Fred Franz was there. He shook his finger at the audience, and he said, “I’ll tell you why nothing happened. (1975). It’s because YOU wanted something to happen.” He blamed the rank and file! I remember thinking to myself what a liar and a douche bag he was.

Along with the 1980 purge we would have gotten real time info of how Ray Franz and others got screwed

I remember having to sneak reading so-called apostate books. If we had all the material at our disposal with the click of a button I totally agree the organization would’ve been decimated along time ago

Particularly when it was made known that the WTS had used and propagated the 6000 years of mankind's existence twice before. ( early 1900's, early 1940's )
The WTS was not only involved in false prophesying but also involved in self indulgent corruption as a religious publishing house..

Sadly I knew of a few suicides by JWS around that time.
The anxiety and fear was just too much for these sensitive ones I suppose, their ages ranged from young teens to young adults.
This was part of the reason why I started to have doubts about the WTS.
I eventuality left for good in the early 1980's
