CLAIM: Sincec2017 Jehovah's Witnesses have sold 2 Billion dollars worth of Kingdom Halls in the United States alone, yet on a recent broadcast they said they needed so many Kingdom Halls to be built. What's going on here?

COUNTER-CLAIM: Jehovah’s Witnesses sold their World Headquarters in NYC and built a new one in a different location. Even IF YOUR CLAIM is accurate that would skew the accuracy of your numbers. The expenses of building new facilities would account for much of that. Again, IF YOUR CLAIM is accurate.

You are attempting to instill doubt about God’s organization. Do you know what bible accounts your question reminds me of? Satan’s trying to instill doubt against God and his organization. Not a flattering parallel. Please read and consider Acts 5:38,39.

Please actually read your bible! Reading it in modern English, instead of an antiquated language that no one really speaks or understands would be best. But your life your choice. Romans 14:12.

Just shows that all the logic in the world won't help someone if they don't want to wake up.

"what's going on there?" building on the backs of donations and free labor and using until flipping for huge profits...now that's a some business model!

I think this would be a better stat if we could take the money earned from the sale of the Brooklyn properties out of the equation. Then we'd get a clearer idea of exactly how much money they're making out of sales of Kingdom Halls.

Because let's be clear about this - sale of Kingdom Halls is rank theft. Members donate hard earned cash to pay for then actually build their congregation's own Kingdom Halls .

Yet incredibly Watchtower then comes along and steals them right from underneath their noses. Selling them with 100% profit, since they contributed zero towards their cost.

Remember 5 or 6years ago. They did that dog and pony show about the urgent need at that time? Where did all that money go from the pledges and raiding all the kh savings accounts?

    Edit to above:

I should have added the fact that Witnesses are coerced by elders into agreeing to sell their congregation's Halls. Watchtower claims that poorer countries need Kingdom Halls too and Headquarters are in the best position to distribute money fairly.

Never specifying poor witnesses in eg.Africa have to pay for their own Kingdom Halls in any case.

Remote Translation Office's are another red herring given volunteer's do the job and given correct equipment could do so at home.
