The September 2016 Watchtower article "Does Your Style of Dress Glorify God?" states Jehovah's Witnesses should feel grateful they are not be burdened with detailed regulations on clothing.
"How grateful we are that Jehovah does not burden us with detailed lists of regulations about our dress and grooming." Watchtower 2016 Sep p.21 par.18
Oh and jeans skirts, dresses - and in the frigid cold winters some places have, pants are a necessity.
The 2016 WT above says not to burden with detailed lists- but that is what they have done for years. Remember, no colored shirts for men? All of a sudden, it was there right before their eyes, they understood! Did the holy spirit they no longer recognize in the baptism question 2, finally show them New Light?

I think the Watchtower will give the green light by picturing them in the artwork and video’s. The easiest way would be to have a few of them wear pants whilst collecting their awards at the Gillead Grad, since they come from different countries.

Womens suits are attractive, modest and easy to find unlike knee length skirts. They are not mimicking men's clothing.
Per other postings, though, they do not need more women reaching out.
The 59-year-old Vice President of the United States is always in pantssuits.
Nicky Haley is running for President, is from the Bible belt, and wears pants half the time.
Most Corporate women wear slacks frequently.
There is no logic in Watchtower banning pants for women.
Hillary is famous for the pantsuit look as well.
Actually, the whole ban on trousers for women is ridiculous to its core. In the northern areas where cultures developed trousers, presumably for warmth, they were attire for both men and women.
