    Some quick updates, mostly cosmetic:

The message sending form should display better feedback of why a message is invalid (which will prevent the send button becoming active).

If your status is telling you that you have unread messages then you should see an option in the 'inbox' page to reset the count / mark all messages read. Just press it once, be patient - marking the actual messages is done in the background.

The topic and post counts are being updated - some will still be incorrect while it processes the data but after that should be correct. All the topics and posts are there, the only thing affected was the total count displayed.

Fixed up a few styles in different places (e.g. form buttons)

Let me know if anything isn't working right. Some operations such as posting may take slightly longer than usual while the backend also processes the post counts so please be patient and don't re-submit things - I started the job on the wrong queue which is also used for regular use to those tasks don't get the priority they should ... meh, as Ace Ventura said "just wait longer !".

For a moment there, I thought I had stepped into a time machine. I think my virginity is growing back as well.

Simon just a question. Why when I use this computer every time I click on the persons avatar who updated  a thread I am taken to the thread midpoint requiring me to click the last page of the thread? It's just this computer that does it. It never used to do that until recently.

Thanks for the "mark all messages read" doodad.

Now, may we please have a way to delete all those old messages? No point in having them hang around, and I'm sure it would free up some space on your site.

    Thanks!

I'll add a delete option but like most systems, delete usually means "mark deleted" (and don't show) ... most things are kept for management and legal reasons at least for a while before they are truly purged.

Storage isn't the big deal it used to be. The entire forum costs a whopping $0.12 per day for the storage part. It is the cheapest component but still, it's not as concerning as it was when it was running on SQL.
