Sometime ago John Newsome did a video about this very issue. That JW elders are involved in a cover-up. They will be thrown under a bus in a heartbeat.
If there are any PIMO elders on here or lurking on here, now is the time to try to step down. Just become totally unreliable, making mistakes with assignments or just going ''irregular'' or ''inactive'', quit reporting serve-us time. Just become totally useless in the congregations eyes, and see how long you stay an 'elder'.
Vinnie Vincent youtube channel also had something on this quite recently. He related to the notion if elders think the Society will send lawyers to defend them, HaHa, think again and he said something like 'wake-up' or something like that.
