Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln ...
Does your state have an above-mentioned county?
Alabama has every one, except Lincoln.

Wisconsin has a Lincoln county, but not a Franklin county, has Washington, Jefferson, Jackson counties
I have no idea why Franklin was not honored as a county, but it there is a city of Franklin named after him.
I believe 31 states have a Washington.
Perhaps I should have placed this in Members Only ...

Maybe you should have posted it in USA Today LOL
Of course Alabama didn't like Lincoln.
How about Hamilton County, I live in one now, and was born in one in the north in another state. You snowbird, are a sweet one :-)
Yes it could be a bit of a hindrance for people to post something like that when they are worried about anonymity.
Thanks, Non.
No Hamilton in Alabama.
I memorized and made a list of all 67 counties in my state, also the county seats, and number of letters in each.
I used to know how many counties were in each state of the Union, but old women forget, also.
Tee hee hee.
I've got a list here somewhere.

Not in AZ. The county names here are mostly drawn from Native American cultures:
-Navajo, Apache, Coconino, Yavapai, Maricopa, Cochise, Mohave, Yuma, etc.
Maricopa is the most familiar.
Thanks.
