Who has written to the WTS about all the scandals?

My only JW friend, to whom I wrote four months ago, wrote back and said, in part, "You are accusing the WTS and have condemned the brothers without hearing their side. That is not fair. You need to write to the Society and give them a chance to explain".

Has anyone done that re: UN, Silent Lambs, etc.

Yes, actually, I DID! I wrote to the GB when I found out about the Jimmy Swaggart and Hare Krishna "tie-up", and said I was very disappointed in their choice of "friends" (the lawsuit was listed as a "friend-of-the-court") and weren't WE (sheep) ALWAYS taught to not have anything to "do" with members of false religion, etc.

I was polite, but firm.....and let them know that I wanted no part of THEM or Jimmy Swaggart...and WHY.

It will be four years in November that I wrote to them.........I've heard nothing in all this time :o)

    Hugs,

    Annie

We all know that writing the WTS is worthless. They will answer like they do in the media, and take no responsibility for any of their actions.

We need to go after the media directly. They seem to be the only ones who can stir things up. About time we use them to our advantage, and bring to light the evil WTS.

Checks go in the (as quickly as possible) deposit pile and complaints from whiners on the trash heap.

I'm sure that's how it goes in the mail room.

Maybe you should try using a blue envelope for letters in the future. At least it will go straight to the service desk and read(Hopefully) instead of being put straight in the bin.

A non-JW friend of mine wrote to London Bethel about active JW's writing on such discussion forums as this.

Go to link to see his letter, then from there to to see the reply he got.

Maybe you should send an unsigned cheque, along with the promise to sign it once they reply to your letter...

I tried to get everyone writing letters a while ago, but nobody seemed interested. It may have been tried before without success.
