    I need some info folks ;

    I need anything at all that can counter the old Dubya argument that Jesus was simply 'a god'.

    The only thing is, It can't say that he is 'God'. I need a decent argument to state he is neither 'God' or 'a god'.

    Any ideas people ?!?! Please help, last time I posted for your help everybody just ignored me lol

    Jesus was neither a god nor God, he was just "a man" that other people made into a god, or God.

    People need gods, and religious leaders make gods in order to subjugate the people and so round and round it goes.

    Jesus was just a man who loved God and his Jewish brothers. Proof is found in a critical analysis of the NT and its origins, something which is impossible for someone who truly believes the Bible is God's word to do.

    Hamas,

    It would be easier to find a Bishop in the Roman Catholic Church who will outrightly say the Pope is a fraud and the Church is a sham than to find a scripture which proves to Christians that Jesus was not who they think he is. The whole NT is set up to prove that Jesus was God or a god or divine in nature, with a pre-existence etc.

    But still, I wait with anticipation to read the responses to your thread. Who knows maybe someone will come up with something. Good luck.

    He is a god. Look the word up in a dictionary.

    Probably this is merely a start:

    Jesus never called himself God or even Son of God. He constantly referred to himself as the son of man. He identified himself with the problems, sorrows, and sufferings of the human race. (Hebrews 2:14-18)

    He had a human birth. (Galatians 4:4; Luke 2:7; Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:1; Romans 1:3)

    He had a human mother. Through her his ancestry is traced to the first man Adam. (Luke 3:23-38) Through her he is the son of Abraham and son of David.

    He had a normal human development: "And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him." (Luke 2:40) "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." (Luke 2:52)

    He was repeatedly called a man. (John 1:30; 8:40; Acts 2:22; 13:38; Romas 5:15; 1 Corinthians 15:21, 47; Philippians 2:8) Even after his resurrection he is called "the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) The New Testament says he will return as a man. (Matthew 16:27, 28; 25:31; 26:64) It says he will judge the world as a man. (Acts 17:31)
