My son did a nice thing for his mother. He brought over a dozen red roses for her yesterday along with two tickets to the Cincinnati Reds game on Monday. The seats are in the second row behind the third base dugout - best seats we ever had (yes I'm invited along). I advised my son to give her the tickets early, because she likes to have a couple day's notice before going somewhere. If he sprang them on her on Sunday, she might not be "in the mood" for a ball game on such short notice. Anyway, my wife was very pleased with the gifts.
