Study 49 rinses & repeats the order for the sheeple to exercise their faith, i.e. recruitment etc. for the cult.

(John 3:16-18) “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him. Whoever exercises faith in him is not to be judged. Whoever does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God." (RNWT)

(John 3:16-18) “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son." (NLT)

Greek πιστεύω (pisteuō) - "to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in of the thing believed, to credit, have confidence in a moral or religious reference, used in the NT of the conviction and trust to which a man is impelled by a certain inner and higher prerogative and law of soul, mere acknowledgment of some fact or event: intellectual faith ."

πιστεύω pisteúō, pist-yoo'-o; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), i.e. credit; by implication, to entrust (especially one's spiritual well-being to Christ):—believe(-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with."

(John 5:24) "Most truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes the One who sent me has everlasting life,"

(John 6:47) "Most truly I say to you, whoever believes has everlasting life."

(Acts 13:38, 39) “Let it therefore be known to you, brothers, that through this one [Jesus] a forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you, and that.......everyone who believes is declared guiltless by means of this one."

(1 John 5:1) "Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God,"

    I REST MY CASE, G.B.

The WTS always said using some phrase/sentence three times for emphasis is a good thing...haha. Evidently the current crop of jws need reminding often. I wonder if many jws actually look up the scripture in their bible, just depend on the snippets of scripture in the article?
