    Hello Forum:

In other words, sacred "Feild Service" to Jehovah. Does anyone else remember people using this phrase - Sacred Service?? I do. While to be honest, I have nothing against spreading your beliefs door to door (hey, it's a free country), I never quite got the whole idead behind HAVING to do it, OR ELSE! I mean, Jesus was a sacrifice for us, right? Jesus paid the price, so we wouldn't have to. Or am I missing something? I mean, you can try as hard as you like, but you'll never repay Jehovah for Christ's blood. How would you even go about it? All you can do is try to be the best you can be, pray, give thanks, etc. You're going to sin, fall short, etc alot of the time. But Sacred Service???

Also, doesn't it say in the Bible where someone said, "Come drink life's water free?" Also, doesn't "knowlege of the one true God and the one whom He sent forth, lead to everlasting life?" Forgive me for not knowing the exact wording or where it is in the Bible. :( I believe in helping people when they are in need no matter whom they are, just as the Sumaritan did. I guess I try to apply the, "What would Jesus do?" saying to situations, instead of trying to decide whether people are going to be destroyed at Judgement Day or not before helping them out. Or, wondering if they put enough feild service in this month and are worthy.

Does anyone else wonder if Jehovah (God) & Jesus ever read on here? I mean, I guess they wouldn't have to, they know how your heart is already. Sometimes I feel guilty for posting on here, that somehow free thinking is wrong, or talking about things is wrong. So I guess I feel I have to make a public apology in front of everyone to God and Jesus, if I am saying something that offends them. (Sorry)

That's all for today, thanks for reading!!

Well, the JWs have it as "knowlege of the one true God and the one whom He sent forth, lead to everlasting life"

However, a more accurate translation of that verse is "This means everlasting life, knowing God and the one whom He sent forth..."

There's a helluva difference between knowledge of God, and knowing God. Big difference. And the JWs don't want you to get into the latter 'cause if you do you'll realize you need the Borganization like a fish needs a bicycle. They want you to think you have to know about God and you get your knowledge about Him through THEM!

Yeah, I've heard the term "Sacred Service", it was mostly from older brothers. They keep changing their f*cking terms and confusing everybody. Remember "Book Study Conductor"? According to the JWs teachings, you're supposed to follow in the footsteps of Jesus which includes preaching the good news and dying on a torture stake.

This 'Service' was sacred for the publishing company, not God! The WatchTower dictated what is sacred over and beyond the good book. A side from the term 'bible study' nothing on a time slip is asked of Chirstians in the Bible. And the WT inserts their books to be studied with the Bible. Also works that Jesus followers were encouraged to do, such as look after widows and fatherless boys, depressed souls, and those in need are not listed as sacred service! The WatchTower corporation is total BS! Maverick
