Can we sue anybody who disregards the sign and rings / knock`s on the door anyway ?

I'm told that door knocking is banned because of Covid. 'Field Service' is getting together on Zoom to write letters to prospective recruits. Don't ask me how they find names and addresses to write to, but I would like to know.
