Hi wannaexit! I was a few miles from there as I live near Detroit. My family was there but they couldn't convince me to go. HA! It's been almost 10 years since I attended a district convention there and I don't miss it a bit! The weather should be nice and hot for you this weekend. Try and sit in the bottom level and make sure to bring enough paper to make fans with. If you can get away and are up for it a few of us are meeting for dinner Sunday evening not too far from there. Just pm me if you need more info.

There is no need to explain your actions to me, for, what you do is your businees and, besides, my final comment was not directed to you personally but merely a generalised statement of the fact that I would not like to go anywhere for the sake of a JW activity. Those days are thankfully lonnnnnnnng gone.

Thanks for the invitation. I would have loved to meet you. But I managed to weasel out of Sunday. So I wont be going over to Pontiac.
Two days of assembly is all I can manage to tolerate. I used to cry for joy at assemblies but now that my eyes are finally wide open I was crying because I wanted out of there so bad.

Too bad you won't be around but I'm sure you'll be glad for a day off from the noxious fumes of agape vomit..LOL! I have so many funny memories of the Silverdome. We were always late so we always got stuck sitting in the upper level. Noone could stay awake in that heat! Have a nice day off!
