Cuz I would like being upper class in late victorian/edwardian england. Or perhaps some sort of provincial governor. Perhaps I shouldn't read Kipling any more.

I liked the victorian age because it was the time of some amazingly gifted inventors and we would not be here now without a lot of their ingenuity. In fact, many of the bridges and tunnels we travel on were made by them.
But a time without the internet? What woudl I do all day !
