You know, I think of the same thing when it comes to my father - well more or less, will I out live him?
He lived to be 66th , just missing his 67th by a month (December 9, 1934 - November 5, 2001).
I have 24 years to do it. It sits in my mind, always.
My impression is, your Dad was special and you miss him. That must be an incredible feeling.

My mother passed away on June 23 as well, in 1985. It was the saddest day of my life.
One comfort to me is the fact that if there is life after death, she knows the JWs are wrong now. Since passing she has 5 new great-grandchildren and among the most recent additions, her 2 new grandkids (my babies). I wish she could have lived to see them and they her.
