While visiting with the bethel overseer (overseer at the time, him and his wife got the boot due to old age), I had a question and asked him if we could research it since we were in his dinky bethel room. There was another couple with us at the time and he said they weren't allowed to hold any meeting independently in their rooms when studying the bible. He could do it with his wife and that was it. He didn't know why they couldn't yet them and another couple can sit all morning and watch the org's stupid Caleb and Sophia cartoons together in the room. Bizarre to say the least! -

When that sort of thing happens, the people studying (anointed nutballs or otherwise) almost always come to the conclusion that it ain't "the Truth".

So, given that the scriptures appeal to each and every reader to avoid those who mislead, who make false prophecy and add to the original words....guess the GB is a touch in trouble?
Proof please that you, the GB who are mere men can fully convince the world that you are none other than the special annointed.

Religion is mostly about cultivating power and control to oneself, in that endeavor usually you'll find lies, deceptions and select biased information that supports that inherent intent.
Without lies and deceptions, where would most religions be that exist today ?
....... and yes that's how the JWS came to be, just like all other religions.
The WTS heads have self proclaimed that they have gods solemn choice over themselves and the entire organization, in spite of the many spurious lies and misinformation this organization has propagated in selling its literature to the public.
The anointed spirit comes to them and no one else on earth, making their bible interpretations the correct ones, they intentionally locked onto that power for their own self cultivating means .
