With all the recent failing legal issues the WTS has been involved in, I'm starting to wonder if the WTS is trying to do their own fading. Just think of it, the scarlet colored beast has attacked them (they run themselves broke), and armageddon is due any day. This would be the perfect way for the WTS to disappear from earth, including all the accusations, lawsuits, etc.

Interesting idea but imo unlikely. You can't forget the huge ego involved. "We are god's people. Nothing Satan or his hordes can do that can make us fail"
This recent exposure is likely just going to make them 'circle the wagons' a little tighter, becoming even more paranoid and isolationist in their dealings. They will tighten the controls even more causing more problems.
The concept of forthrightness and open dialogue is anathema to them. They don't want to just fade away since they are awaiting their Lord and Father to bring them vindication and to deliver them up from the persecution they willingly face in Jehovah's name.... yadda yadda yadda

Their money is tied up in real estate while cash is relatively low. If they lose some pedophilia cases they will have to sell off properties, and in fact are this moment considering the sale of a waterfront skyscraper, perhaps anticipating losing some cases.
